I am pleased to announce that the charter bus contracts have been signed, the website is 90% complete (bookings will be accepted soon) and the “stoke level” is running high here at University Ski Bus as we get ready to take you to the slopes.

Here’s what I can tell you -

The first trip will be to Arapahoe Basin or Keystone.  My gut tells me we’ll be headed to A-Basin, but I ski too so I’m going to make sure we go to the resort with the most snow coverage – especially during the early season.  The goal is to have the first bus go out early November.  But hey, keep your fingers crossed for lots of early season snow and we’ll make the first trip happen sooner.

Our introductory price will be $19.  This includes roundtrip luxury transportation from campus, free breakfast and movies on the bus.  We’re also going to do our best to hook you up with some free stuff once you board the bus.

University Ski Bus will serve University of Denver students initially.  But we’re eager to expand our service to other campuses as well.  Do you think you have what it takes to help promote us at other schools?  If so, I want to talk to you.  You may contact me at George@UniversitySkiBus.com

Beginning in January, YOU will decide which resort we go to each Saturday.  Have you noticed the poll on our homepage?  Starting in January, we’ll listen to our customers’ feedback when deciding where to ski each Saturday (you’ll know where we’re headed a week in advance).

I can’t do this alone.  I want to thank everyone who has donated an idea, words of encouragement or a Facebook “Like.”  The bottom line is that this service will not be a success without your support.  I must thank Tyler Perlmutter, a friend and networking genius who has already helped spread word about the new service that’s about to hit campus.  As things get crazy in the Fall, he’s going to play a huge role in making University Ski Bus the best it can be.

I need your help.  If you haven’t already done so, one of the easiest things you can do is to “Like” us on Facebook (see bottom of page) and ask your friends to do the same.  Also, there will be some Employment Opportunities that will be announced on our blog and Facebook Page in the coming weeks.  These might include passing out fliers or being a trip leader.
